Blogger In Draft

Lesson 1 of computer technology: never be the first to try something out.

My blog has now incorporated Blogger in Draft, which means that some of the more irritating things about Blogger have finally been ironed out.

Firstly, you will notice a comment field at the bottom of the post page, rather than a completely different page loading up every time you want to comment. Much more sensible. But it does not work simply by pressing the button, some code needs to be changed. This is where doing it later helps, as someone else has already solved this problem.

Secondly, there is on the post page a star rating system. This looked cool, so I put it in. But it doesn't work straight off, so one needs assistance to get it started. I could not be bothered with any of the other updates, as they seemed a bit silly. Anyway, some more thinking will be required to get the stars on an archive page or the home page.

I hope that this makes viewing the blog a more enjoyable experience.
